Partner Agencies


The following agencies have agreed to joining CJN in providing cancer education, the connection to a navigator, the opportunity to meet a physician, and access to transportation resources for early screening and, if necessary, additional screening and treatment.

American Cancer Society (ACS)
This organization will provide materials for all CJN meetings that relate to cancer and early screening and treatment. They will also assist with transportation information and possible support of transportation.

Cancer Support Community 
The CSC offers free support groups for people with prostate, breast, and cervical cancers.

Center for Independent Living Solutions (CILO)

This organization is based in the Mt. Auburn neighborhood and offers programs for people with disabilities. They will develop programs for cancer education and meeting of navigators.

Chris Collinsworth ProScan Fund 
This organization will provide free screening at their locations for low income and minorities.


Christ Church Cathedral
Located in downtown Cincinnati, Christ Church Cathedral offers a weekly evening meal to about 200 poor and homeless people. The CJN will present cancer information at this meal and seek to connect navigators to people interested in early screening. Navigators will suggest transportation to health centers for screening and accompany individuals.

Churches Active in Northside (CAIN)
CAIN is based in Northside, a neighborhood in Cincinnati, and offers a weekly dinner meal to about 150 low income and minorities. CJN will present at this meal and seek to connect navigators to people interested in early screening at near-by health center.

Cincinnati Health Department
The Cincinnati Health Department Health Centers are throughout Cincinnati and serve a largely low income and minority population. Cancer education, and navigation to treatment will be offered by the CJN after people have been screened.

Crossroad Health Center
This organization is a FQHC that serves low income communities in Cincinnati. Our navigators will work with their primary care providers to assist in transportation and support for treatment for cancer.

Hamilton County Development Disabilities Services 
This organization has a mission to promote and support opportunities for people with developmental disabilities to live, work, learn and fully participate in their communities.

Healthy Days 365
This organization is based in the Walnut Hills neighborhood and seeks to provide health information to people who are going to grocery stores. We will offer cancer education and navigators as a part of their services.

Easter Seals
This organization assists people with disabilities with employment in the Greater Cincinnati area.

Freestore Foodbank
This organization is based in Over the Rhine and provides food and related services to low income and minorities from throughout the city. CJN will arrange for special meetings for cancer education and connection to a navigator.

Jewish Hospital Women's Center
This hospital will provide a mammography van.

Madisonville Education and Assistance Center
This organization is based in Madisonville and offers a weekly dinner meal to about 150 low income and minorities. The CJN will meet at dinner and discuss working with a navigator and assisting with transportation to a health center for screening.

Peace Village Student Organization
This UC based student group will recruit navigators, hold training conferences, and provide opportunities for evaluation.

Peaslee Neighborhood Center
This organization is based in Over the Rhine and offers programs to low income and minorities. They will develop programs to offer cancer education and navigator meetings.

Santa Maria Community Services
This organization is based in Lower Price Hill and will develop health fairs to offer cancer education and navigators.

St. Francis Seraph
This organization is based in Over the Rhine and offers a wide variety of services to the low income and minority population. CJN will offer a weekly cancer education and meeting with navigators and provide transportation information about connecting to health center.

St. Vincent de Paul 
This organization works primarily with the poor and it's main center is in the West End of Cincinnati. CJN will join their Saturday programs and navigators and physicians will discuss early screening and assist with transportation to local health centers.

Southern Baptist Church
This organization is based in Avondale and has a variety of ways in which the CJN can meet both members of this church and other churches in the area for cancer education and navigators to health centers.

University of Cincinnati School of Social Work
This professional program will provide student social workers for training to become navigators.

Villages at Roll Hill
This small neighborhood in Cincinnati will partner with us to support cancer education and connection to screening.

WeTHRIVE! an initiative of Hamilton County Public Health

Woodward Technical High School
Woodward students in the health track are developing programs for cancer prevention.


Xavier University School of Nursing 
This professional program will provide student nurses for training to become navigators.

YMCA of Greater Cincinnati

This organization is offering support to people with cancer.
